We lyfted across town for what we hoped would be a deliciously authentic Colombian meal. We were not disappointed!
We got the Bendeja Paisa, empanadas and the pork belly arepa. They were out of eggs, so they gave us extra ground beef. It seems like we didn't het the exact same platter as photoed by other patrons, but it what we got was EXCELLENT! The beans are just so flavorful. The perfect bite was a little beans, rice, pork belly or sausage and plantain. omg, my mouth is watering as I write this!
The empanadas had a delicious crispy corn outter crust that was perfect in the sauce.
I can't wait to go back one day! -

Must say the food was mediocre.....
Ordered empanadas got charged for them but never served.
The tamal was hard as a rock and the service so so.
Not impressed and a bit overpriced -

I have been a costumer of parceros a couple times but my last visit on 8/29/19 was not wat I'm used to.
First we order a couple patacones both of mix meats and both of them have a little or almost nothing of the 2 meats and only one slice of avocado on them, not worth their price. And we order an mango juice. Which on my previous visits was great and slushy. But not this time was bland and all melted. And paid about 34 dollars for all of this. Definitely not worth. Hope they go back to be an tasty place like it was before. But not sure if will come back -

Every time I am on vacation, I like to search for Colombian restaurants in which ever city I am visiting, this time it was my turn to have Colombian food in Denver.
While the decorations, music, and food all were authentic Colombian, I hate to say that I was quite disappointed by everything, except for the natural juice I had, which was maracuyá made with milk.
We ordered the bandeja paisa with steak instead of carne en polvo (very finely ground beef), there was a $2.00 upcharge for the steak and while it had decent flavor, it was mostly fatty. The portion was alright for the price, it just was not good. Starting with the chicharrón being overcooked and extremely crispy where you can't even tell it's meat anymore, the egg is supposed to be on the softer side and runny, but it was also overdone. It was just not a pleasant meal for me after trying so many other bandejas paisas in Chicago, NYC, and of course in Medellin, Colombia.
We also ordered an order of 5 beef empanadas, they were overall decent with the exception of them being too salty, otherwise they were good.
Also tried an arepa de chocolo con queso. It was pleasantly thick and cheesy, but the arepa itself was insipid and not quite sweet like an arepa de chocolo generally is. While it had actual corn kernel parts, it seemed like it had more flour than corn and leaving a lot to be desired.
I hope they can use my review to improve these few issues we encountered while dining there. -

Decided to stop by despite the reviews, and let me tell you this place deserves 5 stars! Service was fast, and friendly. Prices were good, and the food! Authentic! I went my with Bf who is from sincelejo and he loved the food and the atmosphere... he felt right at home! We ordered their empanadas which were delicious, their bandeja and their soup ajiaco.... I absolutely loved their soup. It's was so different from the soups I've had in my culture. Give this place a try!
